2002 British Cadet Corps Champions

This year the challenge of Harry Potter laid down some serious challenges for the members. Increase in scale registers being able to be played and a variation of sometime obscure time signatures meant that the music at first was quite alien to the performers. However, music tailored to each individuals abilities and small sectional teaching ratio, ensured that no one got left too far behind and were encouraged to do the best they could, which I feel was the key to our successful time in cadet land since being formed. 

Being crowned 2002 Cadet Champions was testament to everyone at Southern Aurora for believing in and investing time in youngsters...or put it another way....'tomorrow's Corps'.
