2004 Watch this space.....

2003 At the start of the year we were in the unbelievable position of being unable to field the A’ corps, due to a lack of both staff and member. Malcolm Catt resigned and Kevin Pocock took the helm aided by many members of the A’ corps that stepped forward to become staff members! The decision was made to amalgamate what was left of the A’ corps with the Cadets, and to enter DCUK Junior class! A new show was selected, Miss Saigon 2, all of this put the corps way behind, time wise and it is great credit to both Kevin and his new staff that the show went out at Grantham! As the year went on the corps grow, members return and the future of the corps was secured, a very creditable third place was achieved at finals with a score of 66.6, but it is not understating the situation to say that the real achievement at finals is that Southern Aurora was still there!

2002 For the first time we did not compete in BYBA deciding to concentrate our efforts on DCUK.  We became DCUK Champions with the 2nd highest score ever also taking High Visual and High General Effect and all this in only our 3rd season on the circuit - has any other Corps achieved this much success in both organisations and all in only 7 years.  To add to this success the Cadet Corps won the DCUK Cadet Corps Championships making this a double celebration.

2001 The Corps came joint runners up in the DCUK - winning High Brass & High Percussion.  They won the BYBA Premier Class Trophy with a recording score of 904 - taking all captions and winning the Premier Class League.  The Cadet Corps held onto their 2nd Place at the DCUK Cadet Class Finals and were awarded a Gold Award at the BYBA Nationals.

2000 The Corps competed in both DCUK (Drum Corps United Kingdom) and BYBA circuits for the first time.  They won the BYBA Premier Class trophy, taking both the Percussion and Wind trophies and were Premier Class League Runners-Up.  In DCUK they were placed 3rd in the Open Class and took the 'High Drums' trophy as overall percussion winners.  The Cadet Corps were placed 2nd at the DCUK Cadet Class Finals and were joint winners at the BYBA Cadet Class Finals.

1999 The organisation saw the formation of a Cadet Corps for the younger members (7-14) and most of their instructors were "A" Corps members.  In their first season they won 3 Silver Medals in the BYBA Cadet Class.  The "A" Corps, in their first year in the Premier Class were placed 7th in the League and gained 5th place in the Premier Class Finals.

1998 The Corps won the BYBA Championship League Runners-Up trophy and the Championship Class Finals trophy (once again unbeaten all season). They won a Silver Medal at the World Showband Championships in London competing against Corps from around the world.

1997 BYBA Contest League Winners and Class Finals Champions (again unbeaten all season)

1996 BYBA (British Youth Band Association) Novice League Winners and Class Finals Champions (unbeaten all season)

1995 November and a new Corps was formed.
